Product Description

This coffee comes from the Musasa region of Rwanda. Many local farms, often under an acre in size, have formed a cooperative to process this coffee. It is wet processed and sun dried. This is a sweet coffee with a citrus (lemony) taste. It is a medium roast, a very bright clean cup.
Rwanda is a country the has made a complete turn-around in political stability and coffee quality. Ten years ago Rwanda coffee was sold with a discount on the market, now most Rwanda coffee including this Musasa sells at a premium to other cofee. Rwanda exports nearly all their coffee. Estimates have coffee amounting to approximately 60% of all Rwandan exports.
